Infinite Infants - We’re All In It Together: Surviving the Best of All Possible Worlds

Dummied down on the prison planet by R. Ayana
Infinite Infants - We’re All In It Together
Surviving the Best of All Possible Worlds

We’re living in a melting pot of melding cultures, molten genes and moulting pasts, all trickling together to create a New Humanity – a species and civilization fit to live in the trance-formed transform we’ve made of this Earth; the best of all possible worlds moulded like living clay in our oftentimes desensitised hands.

Domesticated primate life isn’t intrinsically destructive or competitive. Our civilizations don’t have to be ecologically catastrophic. Humankind doesn’t require reengineering, wholesale destruction and subsequent rebuilding to arrive at a better state. Infants possessed of infinite potential, we just need to tweak a few expectations and modify some inappropriate behaviour through ongoing learning and practice.

We’ve become so efficient and wise to the ways of the world we’ve forgotten why we came here, distracted as we are by the sound and fury of an historically tumultuous existence on this wobbly third electron from the Sun. Unless we take time to listen to the silence inside the core of our beings we easily become hypnotized by passing parades and entertaining labyrinths of endless sideshows, and forget the Main Game of enlightened survival.

Once upon a time we had to decide which tribe members to discard in leaner, harder times, continually faced with the terrible imperative of scarcity and the vagaries of an apparently chaotic environment. Now that we’ve become the dominant domineering animal on planet Earth we have to learn to see the world and our selves very differently.

It’s blindingly easy to follow the ingrained imperatives of fight or flight, but those limited and limiting paths are no longer appropriate. They can only mislead us into very bad choices. Now we have to learn to live with each other, right where we are.

Hoffman's Children by R. Ayana

Where all our laws, lore and mores were once predicated on sharing a vanishingly small pot between a handful of competitive siblings and cousins, we now have an entire world to share – not a small plot of dirt to divide or conquer. The greatest challenge facing us now is learning how to live with plenty – no longer struggling through painful workaday lives amidst the scar cities of yore but learning to dance with full bellies in a realm of abundance.

There’s far more than enough of everything we need. If we don’t keep flushing all our soils and nutrients into rivers and oceans we’ll easily be able to feed ten billion human souls or more. If we stop murdering and dismembering sentient beings for worthless poisoned protein (destroying all our arable land and clean water in the process) we can feed billions more. Our ongoing problems are stupid addictions, not scarcities.

A little well applied pressure on a few well-placed fulcrums will help restore harmony and allow us to thrive in a paradise planet. The fuels we put into our machinery and bodies can be healthy and clean instead of toxic and filthy. There’s nothing wrong with cars, or private property and transportation; the only real problem is the toxic fuels we’ve been forced to buy from monopolist power mongers hell bent on ruling us all. We could run the world’s fleets of vehicles with zero emissions on water-derived gas or cleanly sourced FREE electricity . We can easily do the same with all home and industrial power, if we can only eject the industrialists who keep us all under their thumbs, who continually suppress all advances that can’t provide them and theirs with obscene amounts of money or centralised power.

Clean free energy is one of the major keys that will open the door to unheralded futures, and the dawn of free energy is already upon us. We no longer live in a self-enclosed system of limited possibilities and constrained imagination. We live in an open-ended realm where anything is possible, and everything is probable!

The limited, limiting view of uneducated, misguided skeptics

All the pieces to the puzzle of an idyllic world are already lying on the table; we just need to assemble them.

Even the stark reality of a surveillance society makes some kind of sense to the helpless, old and weak who crave protection from an all-seeing benefactor. If we lived in an OPEN surveillance society where all governments and other corporate entities opened their books and secret files to public scrutiny then we’d be able to trust the endless oversight systems we now live in. In a world where all politicians are viewed as publicly supervised public servants we’ll have fair governance by people disinterested in controlling the free-willed lives of others. With really free freedom of information we’ll be able to know what – not just who – to vote for and follow.

A few basic changes can wreak greater good; citizen’s initiated referenda, carefully built voting systems in which people vote for issues and policies - not unrepresentative self-serving parties or politicians - would usher in an era of a real and truer democracy by, with and from all. Political power will no longer just be the province of a bunch of well-connected greed merchants and power freaks. The centralised propaganda mills of the olden time media are crumbling at last – no longer able to control the minds and decisions of entire populations. Governance by real consensus is coming at last, and woe betides those who would stand in its way.
Escapee by R. Ayana
Remaking our cities into vast market gardens will soon stop pollution in its tracks. To grow clean healthy food you need a clean healthy environment, and there’s no point attempting to remain clean in a toxic metropolis; no matter how clean and healthy you try to be, you’ll simply be poisoned by osmosis until your immediate environment is cleaned and wholesome. The glasshouse mountains of skyscraping office builders can produce power and supply food to vast numbers, producing biomass and oxygen for a healthier ecosystem.

Teaching anatomy to children and letting them grow intimately familiar with their bodies will create generations of wise and autonomous beings, freed from the lying poisoners who masquerade as doctors and healers in today’s purblind crap-laden system, that’s designed to make profits for corpse-making corporate chemical corps.

We live in a world of preponderate abundance in which we flush away vast amounts of the things we all need to survive. There’s far more than enough of everything to go around; in the modern world scarcity is a carefully maintained illusion, propagated to keep everyone working on pointless treadmills, spending illusory money and precious time.

Money and monetarism are crazy illusions. Economics is not a science; just another competing religion. We could easily put everyone on the planet on a guaranteed minimum wage that would supply everyone’s basic needs for food, water, shelter and edutainment. No-one needs to suffer or work at jobs that destroy the planet in the name of illusory money. Everyone can be free to choose what they do with their precious time; most will continue to work like slaves for generations, unused to having free time on their hands and free space in their minds.

Human longevity is another abundance we must learn how to live with, or perish in the process. What will immortals or multicentenarians choose to do with their leisure time? This is a question anyone who wishes to live a long healthy life needs to seriously consider. Practice learning how to use leisure time now. What would you do with immortality? Work forever at a job you hate or learn how to live in paradise on Earth? Our expectations limit or free us. It’s no secret that literally create our own realities; we have no need for money to have what we require, or even those states and things which we really desire.

There are plenty of positive, healthy things to do right now. We need to repair rivers and ecosystems and replant entire diverse forests – not as canals, drains and plantations, but as living, breathing, breeding realms of possibility and promise. We need to build fresh networks of clean green technologies and recycle the egregious old toxic systems built by dumb robber barons into self-sustaining technologies of growth and renewal. We need to do all this without being PAID to do it! Money solves nothing, and dissolves one’s will to see and act clearly.

We’re continually told there are too many people, but this is another lie. Those who think the world has too many people need to think again, lest they throw out the baby with the bathwater. If you think there are too many people you’d best rid the world of yourself and yours before judging others as superfluous. According to the most accurate projections human population growth is already tailing off.

Wherever women gain freedom over their bodies and lives population growth ceases to be a problem. Population growth trends are already waning all over the globe, and it’s very unlikely that humankind’s numbers will swell too much further after all. Fear of more babies and children is actually unnecessary; we’ll be lucky to stay fertile enough to maintain current numbers. The problem isn’t the number of people on the planet, but the ways we choose – or have been forced and coerced – to live.

Great positive changes can come to pass, if we steer the titanic ships of probability away from the approaching iceberg ice age with our thoughts, expectations and deeds. In a best-case scenario the warming we’ve already induced in the world’s climate system may carry us through the approaching Maunder Minimum – a prospective era of impending cold which would bury much of the inhabited planet beneath overdue mountains of snow and ice – and deliver us into a stable, healthy environment in another century or two, if we put the brakes on overheated and misguided expansionary development right now.

We don’t live in a zero-sum game in a finite universe, but inhabit a flowing holographic reality of infinite multiple possibilities. We all move in small human circles on what is a very big world after all.

What will you do with infinity? Would you prefer to consider a lesser destiny within a realm of oppressive density, or to open your mind to the real open-ended possibilities and challenges facing you, here, now, today?

You have no real choice but to change. What do you want to evolve into?

Making A Happy World
How to create abundance

The question is not, ‘How will humanity survive?’ The real question is, ‘What kind of life do I want to live now?’

        - Superstition by Stevie Wonder

Human-type beings are dynamic, warm-blooded domesticated primate mammals attempting to fit our varied dreams and destinies into a painful straightjacket that’s not designed for us. You could be excused for thinking that our bright shiny civilization - with its nuclear family structure created to feed the maws of factories and offices – is something that’s been around for a long time.

It hasn’t. It’s a new and temporary invention that’s impossible to sustain. A ‘family’ that’s comprised of mum, dad and the kid/s is a dangerous illusion, a pernicious superstition that is one of the biggest elephants in our cultural lounge room and the major problem that we need to resolve if we’re to learn to share and preserve the world.

The ongoing isolation that most of us in developed countries are experiencing is the end result of a deliberate policy of divide and conquer carried through to its logical extreme. In ‘wealthier’ countries the nuclear family itself is no longer the norm; many people live almost completely separated from their loved ones and dwell at a tolerable distance from their friends. We screen out the world and live behind walls that separate us from the potential for noble, happy, healthy and integrated lives.

And yet we must learn to share the planet Earth and to actually care about and like our fellow human beings, enjoying their company and striking a much better balance between shared space and our occasional need for privacy. There’s actually far more than enough to sustain us all – we can all live at a high ‘Western’ standard of living without destroying the ecosystem. The concept of Humanity’s huge ecological footprint being too large to sustain is only accurate when the old technological and social fixes aren’t exchanged for new ones that are already waiting in the wings for their overdue cue.
People could continue leading their profligate lives with impunity - if the fuel and power sources were clean and the materials used for all our daily needs weren’t made of toxic chemical time bombs. The alternatives are all ready for us to adopt and use – when we’re allowed to. Or you can take matters into your own hands and bring about radical change in your life – where it matters most. Something far more fundamental than the props and scenery has to change – we have to write new scripts and roles for ourselves or someone else will do it for us.

Humans live most happily in medium-sized groups that mimic the extended family structure of our nomadic ancestors, who generally stuck together in bands numbering between twelve and three dozen. Smaller groups tend to die out and larger ones fission into smaller ones. Extended families work particularly well when you have a lot of empty space to fill; they’re a recipe for species suicide in our new millennium. And yet they remain the time-tested template for a satisfying human life and the substrate of our simian minds and emotions.

  The Nation of Two
photo

The essential difference between humans and other primates (and other animals) is that we need to invest so much time and energy into our children, to fit them into our complex temporal-lobe driven societies and make them fit to fill a useful niche in our skill-based survival machine.

Humans bond sexually for a period of time lasting from puberty to menopause. During this time younger men and women in most nomadic human bands separate out from the group for a time – until the female is pregnant and returns to the mothers and the family fold that make pregnancy, childbirth and parenting easy – and tolerable. Human pair bonding makes it possible to grow our great big brains – but it also creates something not present in other primates, when our old tribal structures break down; a nation of two that becomes separated from the rest of the clan in the modern feudal world, left to sink or swim on their own.
Parents are forced to stand alone under the meager prideful possession of a shared roof (that’s purchased at the cost of their freedom and the chance to actually live their lives together) or fracturing under the strain – and they actually pay strangers to watch their children so they can work to afford ‘childcare’.

When couples have children they’re often radically disenfranchised of their childless friends, developing a new circle of acquaintances that exist in similarly isolating circumstances. The utterly altered lifestyle of isolated parents leaves little time or room for anyone but those who are part of a children’s support structure and they end up trapped in the hideous suburban nightmare we’ve foisted on our straining planet.

Wage slaves inhabit rows of near-identical expensive little boxes full of isolated and exhausted people, living next door to people in identical circumstances – prisoners of time and space, with walls between their overstrained ears. They help to build a prison planet in which the inmates actually lock themselves up each night behind barred windows and double-locked doors.

Normal, huh? Something to aspire to? Something to pass on to the kids? And so many mistake hiding in their dens and burrows as ‘getting a life’. It’d be tragic if it was an accident, or something imposed on people by a totalitarian regime - but people choose to do it to themselves and choose to ignore the pointless idiocy of their existence, so life itself is misunderstood to be a meaningless filling in of vacant time, just a joke in poor taste, like the stupid structures and ugly sterile décor people choose to live in.

The imperial hive-like pyramid structure of our militarily-incepted civilizations serve us well - if all we want to do is grab as many of the resources we all need to share as quickly as possible; if all we want to do is expend those resources as quickly as possible amid an illusion of expansion and progress in an artificially created illusory world of ‘us’ and ‘them’.

The structure of our modern - yet still feudal - societies is a structure built for insects trapped in an unchanging hive; its top-down pyramidal power systems are designed to stop change and evolution. All the power flows up to the top from the base, while those at the top get to shit on everyone else; like the primate tree-structure of society that this inhuman hive system’s been so easily grafted onto. We live in a civilization best suited to the needs of an insect colony.

In the eyes of those at the top of the human totem pole, this mass of easily led and controlled Humanity is a hitherto necessary gene pool of skilled (wage) slaves whose time has come and gone; with modern automation, the ultra-wealthy can live lives of emperors and empresses without having to maintaining a horde of underlings at a living standard that makes revolution unnecessary. A few million underlings each will do, to maintain the hierarchy of illusory privilege.

The family structures of your rulers barely resemble the nuclear template they’ve foisted on everyone else, whatever the surface appearance of their interlinked dynasties. Their children are shared in a small pool of families that are linked by ties of blood, often fathered by the related business associates of their apparent parents. With such a structure, loyalty to one’s peers is as automatic as despising the poor. If you think such a system is unlikely or impossible, consider for a moment the nature, habits and history of royalty and you’ll see that their interlinked brood of inbred despots is the template for the modern inbred gerontocracy of ‘businessmen’ and ‘CEOs’ (common enemy overlords) who preside over the patently unfair distribution of our planet’s common wealth.

The rich know that this system can’t be sustained without radical changes and that it’s really a pyramid money scam - the newly comfortable populace will be easily shaken out of the tree’s upper branches when the coming large scale war, environmental collapse and ‘market correction’ blow away everything not securely rooted in actual, tangible resources - real wealth, real capital and real estate – and also secured with guns and hired murderers/soldiers.

It works every time; whatever the ostensible political system that appears to prevail, we still live in a fundamentally feudal epoch - one that we finally have a real chance of transforming into something altogether more fair and just in our own lifetimes. The era of these hierarchical self-serving institutions is drawing to a close. If we’re smart and wise and quick we can claw victory from the jaws of defeat and heal ourselves, each other and the planet – if we knock down the physical and mental fences and walls that we’ve built to protect us from ourselves and to keep our children from their playmates.

You can’t get on easily with everyone and you wouldn’t be able to share your house with many people; it’s a natural matter of chemistry and affinity. But there are people you could live with, share your life with - if you give it a chance. As humans we need to connect with the people that mean something to us - and those that can, if given the chance. Sharing and exploring the world together is a prerequisite for a healthy society of sane, free individuals.

On the day that you die, human connexions are the only meaning you’ll divine from life; possessions and accomplishments will count for nothing. Love is the only thing you can take with you.

Try something new with your eyes wide open (to avoid the obvious and well-mapped pitfalls of human interaction) and be ready to see and experience the unexpectedly wonderful. Let’s give the next generations of humans a better loving cradle full of friendly faces to grow up in, a place where parents and children and elders all feel needed, wanted and secure. All we have to do is open our hearts and our spare spaces and link our fractured lives and disparate, poorly designed structures together into the seamless whole they can so easily become. We only need to join the dots – the puzzle pieces are all there and most of the connexions are obvious, just waiting for us to meld them together.

There are many people fed up to the teeth with the same old crap, in positions of wealth and power and have far more than they need. Many would share it with others who had similar aims and hopes – if only they could learn to trust them. There are many, many isolated people who spend their days wandering through empty, friendless rooms in houses too large for them to maintain or use. If we tear down our fences we can all share the commons again and children can learn to play in tribal groups that don’t have to become violent, disenfranchised gangs of semi-literate bozos.

The standard ‘alternatives’ are commonly plain to see; if you prefer to pace through a boring existence in the same old rat run then just do nothing new and forget all this – you can be one of the self-deceiving unhappy herd, the dreaming gene-pool of potential, brooding without actualisation.

Or you can link up with people you like and try something old and new for a change, experiment with your very lives and creativity in a catalytic spirit of truth, beauty, art and love. We an create the next Enlightenment without the need of a cleansing Black Death if we play with our potential consciously instead of existing as half-living animated corpses.

United we dance, divided we’re dead. Let’s live! Let’s party! Let’s get to know and appreciate each other, our children and grandchildren – and those of others. We have the power to achieve whatever we choose – what’s truly good for us all will come together easily. Let’s build a real civilisation that fits our actual nature. Let’s live on a happy planet!

New Paradigms for a New Paradise: Everything We Were Taught Is Wrong

Everything We Were Taught Is Wrong

When I was a child everyone knew that human brain cells didn’t regenerate, and cavities couldn’t heal in children’s teeth; but they do now, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Only a few years ago everyone knew that genes were fixed and unchangeable in your body, and that your DNA didn’t alter in response to environmental effects; it does now.

Stem cells can grow your organs back in situ and heal almost all degenerative diseases, free energy technologies exist which have been ruthlessly suppressed for decades, there’s plenty of life in space, psychic abilities including telepathy and telekinesis have been shown to be real, we live in a nested series of multiverses - and there are many, many other reasons why almost everything you were taught in school beyond the ‘three Rs’ is partially correct at best, and is likely to be completely wrong.

People still believe that space is a vacuum, even though we’ve long been aware that it’s a highly charged medium filled with a plethora of energetic particles, waves and fields.

A generation ago the oldest artefacts of full-blown Central American civilizations were deemed to be around a thousand years old. New evidence has emerged that these advanced societies were extant over thirteen thousand years ago; yet we’re still taught that ‘civilization’ began when cavemen crawled from their holes to build Jericho. Even though ample evidence of steel-using societies exits to show that the Iron Age began at least eleven thousand years ago (preserved in what is now the Black Sea and Turkey, among other places), outdated views of ancient history are still being taught.

The widely acknowledged unhistorical lies of all religions – including Christianity, Judaism and Islam – remain gospel to hundreds of millions of deluded people. These fundamental falsehoods continue to hoodwink humankind and blind people to the truths of the new paradigms emerging all around us – and to our own true potential.

Many foods, chemicals and drugs which societies prescribed for their citizens only a generation ago are deemed crazily toxic today. Many ideas that were regarded as gospel for millennia have been swept aside in just a couple of decades. Until the advent of the internet, broader perspectives and broadened minds were difficult to achieve; the world was even more of a dysfunctional set of competitive and mutually suspicious tribes than it is today. More and more people can see that the emperor has no clothes and entire populations are learning to think for themselves.

Until a generation ago it was considered natural for women in ‘developed’ countries to stay at home to raise children and feed their men, who trooped off all day, every day as the primary wage earners. Unwed mothers were social pariahs and fatherless children were regarded as a sub-class of humans. Even more recently, homosexuality was considered a heinous crime in many ‘advanced’ nations. Many mental illnesses were often ‘treated’ with lobotomies or electro-shock ‘therapy’ and homelessness was a crime.

The death penalty was widespread a generation ago, along with rampant unreported rape and unspeakably common pedophilia - acts which regimentally-minded control freak cultures preferred to leave unexamined and unspoken. Rape within marriage wasn’t considered a crime, and a woman’s property was subject to being summarily confiscated by her husband. People customarily turned a selectively blind eye to all sorts of unconscionable behaviour, and daily drunkenness was a normal regimen for millions.

Children were regularly hit by adults; bullying and sexual harassment were unavoidable in most schools and workplaces. Violence was often ignored, and regarded as unavoidable in many circumstances; domestic violence was a taboo topic. Bloodsports were common and socially sanctioned, while safety equipment and the development of safe practices and procedures in sports, schools and workplaces was almost unheard of.

The choice of foods was abysmal a generation ago, when the excesses of the agro-chemical industry were already well established and poisons were ubiquitous and virtually unavoidable. Societies stuck to the limited range of foods their parents had introduced them to, and nutrition was haphazard and poorly understood. Alternative healing was used only by a discerning few and healthy foods were viewed with suspicion and contempt by the co-opted consumerist majority.

Only a generation ago, people were usually old and tired at fifty-five or sixty and considered themselves to be very lucky if they lived to be sixty-five or seventy.

Politicians were widely respected and their word was commonly believed. Many citizens were rabidly nationalistic in nations that huddled under nuclear umbrellas, in fear of a mythical Cold War’s shadow. Many believed that theirs was the last generation and that a sky fairy would be on their side in an imagined final war that would destroy the entire world – a conflagration which many ‘religious’ people actually longed to witness.

We’re still largely blind to the craziness of today’s civilization and blissfully ignorant of the unnecessary poisons and dis-eases we inflict upon ourselves every day, in every way. Underarm deodorants and tight bras cause breast cancer. Most cosmetics, soaps, shampoos and conditioners contain dangerous chemicals, and toxins easily pass through your skin into your bloodstream; with many chemicals, your skin is more permeable than your gut. Vaccines are laden with mercury, formaldehyde and other poisons that shouldn’t be allowed near adult bloodstreams, let alone those of growing children. Most meat, eggs and dairy products contain hormones and dangerous levels of a range of chemicals. Processed meats (including salami and devon, corned beef and cabanossi) are downright lethal, and microwave ovens and mobile phones are unsafe to use. Fifteen poisons are routinely sprayed on almost all food crops.

Most plastics contain hormone disrupting compounds which damage fertility and health in women and men. When the aromatic compounds in unleaded petrol pass through a catalytic converter they create nerve gas that permeates entire cities with a low-level numbing poison. Small amounts of radioactive waste are added to other metals in order to dispose of the stuff – in spoons, forks and knives, among other things – even in ‘developed’ countries like the USA. Radioactive uranium is used for ammunition in machine guns and howitzers, polluting the soil with a lethal element for billions of years to come. The ‘safety levels’ for pesticides, herbicides, radioactivity and most toxic chemicals are ludicrously inaccurate, and synergistic effects -  when more than one chemical is introduced into the environment or your body to mix and blend - create unprecedented and unpredictable problems. Just off the top of my head I could go on, and on, and on…

Modern society has surrounded itself with so many threats to life and health that it’s little wonder most people choose to exist in a state of denial. Many simply cannot believe that almost everything they touch, eat, drink or put on their bodies is a poison that’s slowly killing them. Most cannot bear to contemplate the fact that the simple wisdoms of Taoists, Wiccans, Animists and hippies - who have always avoided the sophisticated pseudo-luxuries of city-hives in favour of natural climes, entertainments and nourishments – are the sanest paths to follow. Most people cannot conceive giving up their addiction to toxic consumerism and living with the natural, living, breathing, growing world – and insecure cities swell to the point where they become totally unlivable, while the forests need replanting and the ravaged land needs the healing caress of a billion nurturing hands.

We’ve come a long way – and yet almost everything still taught in schools is wrong or misguiding. Even though repetitive rote teaching is finally out of favour, education has narrowed in scope as real learning is subsumed beneath the suffocating shroud of job training. Knowledge is deemed secondary to conformist academic results, and schools have become industrious training grounds for overspecialized slot-fillers, whose lives are dictated by the transient whims of business.

Teachers teach without explaining – many have no real grasp or vision of the knowledge they’re supposed to be imparting - and fundamental errors are copied and blindly recapitulated by overworked and stressed-out students. If you ask a teacher to explain the simplest fundaments of their subject from first principles you’ll often be disappointed by their response. They can tell you how electricity behaves, but can’t tell you why it behaves as it does, or actually describe the fields and energies that make possible the technological devices you use every day. They can tell you the value of everything but the meaning of nothing; meanwhile, ‘Humanities’ has become a term of vilification.

So much of what we take for granted is incorrect. We’ve been talking about healing the environment and creating sane healthy societies for so long that many people seem to believe the task has already been accomplished. In the past, citizens have usually fallen for rhetoric and chosen style over substance – but now we stand at the cusp of a brave new aeon, and have important personal choices to make. We can’t afford to fight each other to a standstill any more, or treat ourselves differently to the way we do others. We have to open our eyes to new realities and possibilities, and open our hearts to the unknown strangers and the strange ideas that we fear the most.

Great advances don’t occur in times of kings, emperors and other tyrants – they come about in melting pots of ideas and cultures; in times like our own.

These Were the Bad Old Days

The tides of time and history have reached a confluence, and our choices are rapidly narrowing as we enter the cusp of a decisive moment. As many of the wiser conservative politicians have remarked, ‘we’re all greenies now’. As the world economy goes down the gurgler and people become more desperate, we have a bright brief moment to decide the course of our individual and collective futures - before rationality is once more swept aside by the apparent dictates of unsustainable competitive behaviour. We can ride the shifting tide to a more pleasurable destination than the obvious horrors elucidated by prophets of doom.

The competitive chaos and eternal dissatisfaction of modern consumer societies is almost as stultifying and alienating as the moribund communist regimes of the last century. If we’re to live in a civilization built to accommodate the real needs of human beings we’re going to have to create it ourselves. We have to cast off the shrouds of outworn notions, lifestyles and technologies and embrace the most ancient truths of all – the realities that arise from being an enlightened immortal consciousness experiencing the life of a tribally-oriented domesticated primate on planet Earth.

Extraordinary new paradigms are already growing within the outmoded shell of the old social orders, which will inevitably implode of their own accord when the time is ripe. Complex societies are inevitably submerged beneath the constricting weight of hyper-organisation and restriction. Like water, freedom inexorably seeps through the seams of regimental order and ultimately overcomes all barriers, levies and narrowly focused canalized systems.

We can still create a sustainable civilization and survive the worst excesses of our past addictions to poisonous lifestyles and toxic consumerism. Growth for its own sake is pointless and lethal on the surface of a highly populated sphere. We can only continue to grow and prosper by changing the ways we think and act, and by spending our time, energy and money more intelligently and honourably. If we’re to live in a truly healthy world we have to see the problems our current lifestyles create, and dream up new ways of living together.

We need to say goodbye to outmoded jobs, tools and industries and ride the changing currents to healthier and happier lives. Wage slaves need to free themselves from mundane tasks that eat up the time of their lives. Pointless industriousness, money-grubbing self-enslavement and beurocratic punctiliousness must be recognised for what they are - time-filling distractions from the main game of having a fruitful life in a bountiful world.

We must question everything about our fundamentally feudal and medieval civilizations, and conceive how to create and enjoy a plentiful world. There’s more than enough to go around if we can only relax enough to share. We can still create a paradise on Earth – if we stop destroying the planet in the pursuit of illusory money, merit, credit, careers and power. If we’re to learn how to live in a global paradise, we have to work, play and live with each other, now, today. We need to achieve far more than simple tolerance of each other’s differences and foibles – we have to open our lives wholeheartedly to other women, men and children who are brave and open enough to do the same.
https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3477/5741806523_809940ef07_b.jpgThere is actually an abundance of energy and materials on Planet Earth; a thorough shakedown of the world’s economies and industries is necessary to break the gridlock of the military/industrial/feudal mindset, that’s congealed around humans like a hypnotic cloud for the last few millennia of regular war and monarchical terrorism. The current shift is a nexus point in history, yet the future is still writ on water; we shall emerge from the shadow of dark industrial mills and step into a new paradigm, but the delineaments of the future will be decided by the struggle within each and every human heart.

Once in every generation there comes a time when the tide turns, and meaningful choices can be made by each and every one of us – apparently personal decisions that will directly influence coming events. If we’re ready to climb out of our private bunkers and fortified homes we can seize the day and right the wrongs of the world – and learn that the world is made of mindstuff. If we aim for a happy, healthy, hopeful future we won’t be trapped in the default settings created by fears and desires - which feed on the insecurity created by the socially segregating separation of woman and man, child and parent, of differently hued tribes, races, flags and religions. This is the time to examine our motives and transform our inner selves, if we’re to have a real hope of creating a future powered and nourished by clean, green natural systems. We can all have a great future, in our very own lifetimes, crafted from the shifting clay of our heartfelt hopes and dreams – if we stop feeding destruction with our thoughts, words, deeds and jobs and seek out better ways to live together.

At this nexus point in history, the future is in our hands; we have a chance to create fairer societies at last. Free clean energy, abundant healthy food, pure water, increasingly diverse ecosystems, human rights and technologically advanced and interesting lives are not mutually exclusive *; only prosperous, well-educated, freedom-oriented societies can have a hope of saving the environment. Prosperity, free access to information, free choice and a large amount of leisure time are all prerequisites to healing ourselves and the planet. There are plenty of interesting things to occupy us and many ways to exercise our bodies and imaginations in the days ahead. Do you enjoy the way you currently fill your time? Can you think of a better way to live? Do you dare to dream of paradise – for all?

Always on the edge of conceivability, the future beckons to us from behind a choice of doors, beyond which await the lady or the tiger - and an undreamt range of other possibilities. Last time I looked, the fate of Schrödinger’s cat was still undetermined. You wake up in a new world every day. If we remove our stupid neckties and subservient uniforms, and loosen the ties that bind our imaginations we can all live long and prosper amidst limitless bounty. We live in an infinite cosmos in which anything is possible – where we can achieve anything we can conceive, if only we imagine it into being for the right reason.

What would you do with a longer, healthier life? Why are you alive, here, now? What did you imagine you were, before you could understand words?

Who are you, really – how did you get here, and why? The answers to these questions are all you need to know to recreate the world.

What are you going to do when you look away from these words – right… NOW?
