Utopia Now or Apocalypse Tomorrow
Freedom or Fatherland Insecurity

“I can’t see the human race getting very far, if women are busy making babies while men are busy killing people.”
 -         Kathleen Azzopardi, age 16

Loving your country is natural, if you live in a natural landscape. All landforms and ecosystems are uniquely individual and people who truly live in them, rooted firmly in the nurturing earth, will always cherish and defend their homeland, families and traditional lifestyles.

Until less than one generation ago most humans lived with nature, outside the modern mushrooming profusion of hive-like cities and towns. More often than not they lived happy, prosperous and fulfilling lives in mutually supportive groups of friends and families. A threat to their land was a threat to their family and their farm, their animals and crops – a threat to their existence. And the major threat to their pleasant lives was usually a city-building, dynastically minded empire-builder and his band of ignorant, willing spear carriers bent on pillage and rape.

Patriotism – the love of the ancestral parent-land – was used as a tool to harvest spear and cannon fodder as regularly as possible. The war machine’s appetite was always voracious and insatiable.

These monarchic feudal empires ruled essentially unchanged through most of our histories before being partially reformed into our modern version of corporate wage-slavery after the Enlightenment.

Rallying around the flag was a necessity of battle, to be regularly practiced in the all-too-brief peacetime so that another generation could be marched into the maw of the beast with a minimum of complaint. The sporting, playful nature of humans was easily exploited for the purposes of war.

Regimented sporting codes enacting regional rivalries on a practice battlefield were encouraged by the rulers of most nations, to foster a militant and violently competitive mindset among the people and ensure that young men were encouraged and rewarded for possessing a near-suicidal lack of enlightened self-interest and individuality. Violent team sports are practice for the mindset of war, not a harmless sublimation of it.

Nationalism, patriotism, racism and religion are the cornerstones of an age-old propaganda edifice that’s designed to stop humans of different tribes and races from thinking for themselves – and from learning to actually like and trust each other. These pernicious fantasies have very effectively impeded the unification of humanity in its race toward a millennial new age of peace, prosperity and familiarity – of fairness and compassion – until now.

Now we have to replace these outmoded notions with much better concepts – a unified healthy planet, a noble species of sisters and brothers with awareness beyond mere materialism, educated in the undeniable facts of our truly remarkable existence and potential. Our true heritage and birthright is greater than we can currently imagine; a caterpillar can’t even see the butterfly.

Nation states do not actually exist. Nations are merely notions, ideas that exist in no landscape but that of the habituated human mind. In such a notional state so-called patriots and soldiers are rewarded with an utterly undeserved credibility and trust, just as sportsmen and women are treated as great leaders and worthy sages for the duration of their prosaic lives.

Nationalism is nothing more than an excuse to believe in an illusory us and them. There’s no honour, nobility or valour involved – loving your imaginary nation is the result of a hypnotic command that uses inflated, self-important racism to excuse murder, theft and extortion. Nationalism always creates a supposedly credible enemy for little girls and boys to demonise and to fantasise slaying in excruciating detail – and our innocent thoughts make the world.

If all nations did what they claim as a sovereign right and simply defended their own territory and homeland, no war could ever occur. But defense is not what having a military force is for in our post-modern world.

Patriotism is merely a pat excuse to riot and cause mayhem in the name of the paterfamilias and padrone, the father, fatherland and fuehrer – usually an old, lonely, blind, hidebound, vengeful psychotic with antisocial tendencies; the monomaniac leading the blind.

These are standard primate traits; not hard-wired behaviour but default settings that are easily tripped by fearful ignorance. Height makes might makes right and the rest is window-dressing and uniforms covering up an essentially mindless, reptilian territorialism that has no ethic but the satisfaction of its own reflexive, insatiable desires.

All our mass beliefs, education and political systems are based on religiously followed lies and self-deceptions, designed to make people fracture themselves into a false hierarchy of castes and classes, winners and losers, victims and victors.

Our warriors are blind killer apes, our priests are lunatics baying at the moon and our leaders are old terrified self-aggrandising assholes shitting on everyone else from the top of the tree, marking territory.

You know it’s true. We’re all one people, with shared emotions, dreams, hopes and aspirations, fractured into a fearful, clamorous Babel of broken mirrors by the lies and errors of those who preceded us. There’s no point respecting leaders of the past or present, no point listening to their vaporous self-serving mockery of intelligent discourse - or in showering them with spirit money or campaign contributions.

The vast majority of all our ancestors were mainly blind, reflexive automatons doing nothing more than their equally robotic predecessors. Today’s leaders and followers are just the same old dinosaurs tarted up in less ornate finery, sucking the cream off our collective mother’s milk at our expense. They’re lying  front-men for the industrialist robber barons, weapon makers and corporate gangsters that despise and fear the rest of Humanity - and who would rather be rid of the majority of us.

Our veneration may be better reserved for the truly deserving visionaries who improve the lot of all humanity at the expense of no-one – those who question and consider, create and experiment; those who examine themselves, nature - and their own nature. Of course, it’s much harder to recall the name of a single one of these individuals than to remember the name of a myriad of sportspeople, generals or delusional religious figures.

Religious dogmas – ‘faiths’ - are nothing more than regional lies told by the blind, the misled and the control freaks of a bygone era. The truth will set you free from the desire for faith. Certainty is much more satisfying and is found in the simplest things by those who really want to root their belief systems in knowledge of the nature of reality – not the nursery rhymes of paedophiles.

Seek the truth in geometry, the substrates and matrices of our existence – the subject leads to other planes of awareness that reveal unexpected pathways through the multifaceted maze between here and tomorrow.

The true shakers and movers of history are largely invisible to us, shoved aside by the makers and shovers who ensure their names occupy every billboard - and that’s actually a good thing, because the victor goes to spoilage and corruption at the focus of the undying attention lavished upon them by a servile, adulating, sub-adult population of hypnotised slaves and servants. The hero is always nailed to the cross of mass expectation and prejudice, gaining power and glory at the expense of freedom and inspiration – or tripping and falling over feet of clay.

This catalogue of woefully repeated ancestral errors only works within unenlightened cultures whose parents allow their children to be ‘taught’ in systems designed as religious programming or job training for automatons. We need to expose our children to fresh concepts in places and mindsets that are carefully crafted for the edification and education of young minds with unexplored potential in a world where anything is possible – not institutions that subject them to being subject to subjects.

Today’s schools and universities are the bastard offspring of arrogant industry and self-serving charity, bricks in the wall that separate us into haves and have-nots. They divide the best sponge-like young minds into separate streams and dead-end specialisations, blocking the development of a well-rounded intellect and life, rechanneling it into a careering, unsteerable vehicle that temporarily serves the purposes of industry.

It’s the old methodology of divide and conquer applied to the brightest minds and the truest, most innocent alliance of truth-seekers, lost in the fossilising shadow-maze of the ivory tower.Rigid specialisation is the opposite of adaptation and synthesis; it’s the worst survival mechanism in a changing paradigm.

Specialisation creates hierarchy and hierarchies are designed to impede change and maintain the status quo of stasis. If you think someone is an inferior or superior when you communicate with them you end up learning nothing; the worth of the information is already compartmentalised, pre-judged and prejudiced - not explored for its intrinsic value and qualities. If you assume the person you’re communicating with is a free, coequal and consciously living being there’s a much better likelihood of fruitful synergy. Friendly interest arouses friendly interest and free thought and communication creates unexpected hybridisation and catalysis.

We don’t need hierarchies any more. We’re all one people, similar in our diversity and united in our sense of unique difference. We’ve outgrown our blind larval past and unless we change our ways now most of us are going to starve to death and die in the wars that will erupt when the food and other prime resources jam up in the inevitable human-created bottlenecks looming in our near future.

Would you prefer it wasn’t you that’s passing their precious time rearranging deckchairs while the coal-fired ship’s master keeps yelling ‘Full steam ahead’? Would you prefer it was someone else? Do you see the bald, blind imperative illogic of ‘us’ and ‘them’, when we’re all on the same Titanic vessel in an uncharitable sea?We don’t have to take that path; there’s a steering wheel and the future sea has no fixed roads, only currents and tides, icebergs and landfalls.

We can develop a new system, a truly new world order based on freedom and chaotic creativity, a new, truer democracy that votes for issues, not faces – one that votes early and often, not for parties or clans but for the betterment of all and a fair distribution of resources and trade in a chaotic state of increasing abundance. The skills to make a new Humanity are well-known and available to us all now – if we seek them.

With clean, free energy and fuels at our disposal and a real commitment to sustainable abundance the entire world can live at the standard of living of middle-class Americans without trashing or utterly transforming the ecosystem. The technology is all waiting for us, sat on and bought out and hidden for decades by the fearful old fossil-fuel dinosaurs. We don’t need them – and that’s what they fear the most.

Utopia is easily achievable. All we have to do is transform and educate ourselves. We can stabilise and enrich the environment and our cultures into a dynamically productive and creative utopia and transform our lives. We can discover the meaning and challenge of leisure time – another term for freedom. We’ll even find new things to dream and complain about.

We can make it happen. All the tools are at our disposal, fully developed and waiting for us to pick up and use. All it takes is a willing and educated population, a free media, unilateral disarmament and a totally transparent and continually examined computerised voting system – all on a global scale and in your local neighbourhood.
It takes a representative world governance – not a government - of all the diverse human tribes, united under the expansive umbrella of the already existing International Bill of Rights – a document that already protects our rights and freedoms and is responsible for most of the great advances of the last half century (that everyone’s taken for granted as unexpected benisons of their own credit-taking individual governments).

All it takes to live in paradise on Earth is for you to examine your self and your mind, suspend your belief and disbelief, and listen to your unknown neighbour.

All it takes is for you to consider the possibilities – and look inside your heart. Is a freely shared world of free, caring beings what you want? Are you ready to change jobs, to vote with your time and work in a field that transforms the world for the better instead of one that’s polluting and destroying it - or feeding or servicing those who are?

Are you ready to discard homeland insecurity with the other rotten fear-filled rags of the past and emerge naked and innocent into a strange, new and fundamentally unknowable dawn?

The question is the same whether you’re a princess or a pauper. What’s the answer? Can you come up with a better alternative than radical transmutation – given where we’re at right now? Or do you prefer the known ‘alternative’ of the same old feudal nightmare leading to the ragged hole?

You won’t need to remember where it was that you read this diatribe, one day in the future when it all makes sense – for better or worse. This author doesn’t particularly want to be noticed or remembered; eye for one intend to be alive and happy in a world inhabited by a prosperous, improving Humanity! How about you?Do you dare to dream of paradise now?

Adam, Eve and Lilith

- Adam, Eve and Lilith -

Divide and Conquer or Unite and Triumph
Make Love, Not War - Two Wrongs Don’t Make a Left

Two heads may be better than one, but not if they bash against each other. The human species is pitted against itself and against its own enlightened self interest at the dawn of this bright New Millennium. The unexamined human mind is similarly split and fractured, its potential as yet unrealised.

The fracture lines are exposed by our various tribal superstitions and regional lies, but aren’t caused by these outdated totemic religious dogmas and catechisms. Most of the planet is blatantly lorded over by fossilised dynasties and racist dictators. Where you see any single family holding multiple positions of power you’re looking at gangsters in operation, running a parasitic kleptocracy. Cronyism and nepotism are age-old methods of feathering your own nest and fending off rival petty tyrants at everyone else’s expense.

Tyrants use racism as the primal wedge to force populations apart, in order to divide and conquer all comers. Every other antagonistic ‘ism’ is another version of a single primordial fear – the fear of the other and of the unknown, embodied in racism and justified by religion and patriotism.

The so-called ‘free world’ appears to be trapped in an illusion of democracy that delivers power into the hands of exactly the same classes of mediocre incompetents and all too efficient control freaks - who also believe they’re born to hoodwink and rule over everyone else.

While life and liberty are infinitely more secure under a compassionate and swiftly acting rule of law than under the whims of inherently insane brutal overseers, no nation on Earth can honestly boast it has a completely free, independent, incorruptible or efficient legal system – let alone a free one. All democracies face similar hurdles.

Under the simple U.N. definition of a democracy – a nation that has given the vote to all its adult citizens for a generation or more – very few countries measure up. Even the United States only qualified as a democracy after the end of the Cold War - twenty-five years after it finally gave the vote to African Americans in all southern states in the mid-sixties.

More than one in a hundred US citizens are currently incarcerated in a rapidly expanding privatised penal system - a higher proportion than any other country. Libertarianism and liberty are not the same thing; as President Roosevelt famously remarked, freedom includes freedom from as well as freedom to. He included the freedom from want as one of the essential four freedoms that America embodied, in his almost universally accepted vision of the American Dream. This freedom has been derided and ignored by subsequent corporation-run governments as ‘socialist’, ‘communist’ and, even worse, ‘utopian’.

There is no free country on planet Earth – yet – but we can make one! First we have to disassemble all the false divisions that separate us into illusory competing groups, which congeal our shared blood into false notions of nations, states and races. To do this we have to see that our emperors have no clothes except those we choose – or are convinced – to give them.

If you want complete control over the human species the oldest trick in the book is to divide the struggling primates into illusory nations and artificial countries, to pit parochial tribes against other nearby ignoramuses. Take a look at Iraq, for instance – a country that was literally invented wholesale by conquering Western interests early last century. It was created with deliberate, easily exploitable faults and fractures so that racist warmongers could hold onto the region’s resources – including energy supplies - and keep control of a vital strategic corridor, with a classic move in what was universally known in Imperial times as the ‘Great Game’.

The fact that Iraq’s artificially created borders contained mutually antagonistic groups who had never been able to live together peacefully was a major bonus for the conquering crusaders - a deliberate ploy of the Western Powers that’s been widely used throughout history. Until 1959 they were able to steal all the deeply riven despot-governed “Iraqi” peoples’ energy supplies without paying a single pound or dollar in royalties. The now largely forgotten Iraqi revolution temporarily freed its people from the yoke of Imperialistic oppression, but built-in internal divisions, exploitative neighbours and imperialist retaliation undid the fledgling nation spectacularly. Watch this space for no further developments – just more of the same.

The Americans learned the tactic of divide and conquer from the English, who picked up the trick from the Roman Empire. The technique is much older than Rome, originating in primate sibling rivalry and unexamined, culturally entrained competitive behaviour. ‘Division’ is an ancient trick of the divine gods who rule over mortals – the word ‘divide’, ‘divine’ and ‘devil’ all spring from the same root of the Tree of Knowledge of Life and Death, in case you’re interested in that sort of thing.

Most self-professed democratic nations literally labour under the illusion that they have freedom of choice – when they only have two nearly identical thumb-twiddling, tweedle-dumber political parties to choose between. Governments are mainly comprised of old men corrupted by power and fear, and officious Oppositions usually only serve to oppose – they hardly ever contribute anything new or meaningful to a rigged debate.

When you only have to bribe, coerce and co-opt a handful of figures in Cabinet and Opposition you have little to fear from the many millions of subjects who believe their vote means something. Unless you actually know a politician intimately and personally – know them well enough to be absolutely certain they’re honest and motivated solely by the best ideals - only new faces in politics can be trusted at all; you can more easily see their reactions to the strings attempting to pull them.

Some members of the tyranny of despots would like to be good shepherds instead of wily predators, and some are working to remold the world into a more splendid image than their devolutionary fellows – but to exercise power over others is an inherently corrupting Faustian pastime.

Under these circumstances your vote can only mean something if you don’t vote for either of the two alternatives that have a chance of winning! In practice the ‘choice’ comes down to a primitive playoff between two corporate-industrial-military front-men, whose faces and voices are almost all that most citizens see or hear of their governments. Meaningful change is rendered impossible in this false gladiatorial contest. If you have no choice but to vote for a party, then vote for a third force that may hold the balance of power without being already corrupted by it.

'Feudal';
Freedom Exits Under Dominator’s Adversarial Laws

The simple but supremely successful trick of duopoly politics holds the world in thrall to a fundamentally feudal hive structure of remote masters, bureaucratic governors and workers who jump for carrots and cringe from sticks.

Democracy is far more than the sham of party politics, and real democracy is strangled to death by fat cats enjoying expensive private parties held at everyone else’s expense – lousy parties with tinny music, bland costumes and boring speeches – cringe-worthy parties which are no fun at all. Real democracy requires that people can elect representatives who will represent them – not some other individual, group or party.

The whole notion of parties representing the people is an inherently absurd historical error that we now have the means to correct. In the newly emergent interconnected age of distributed networks, we can each become a sovereign of our own true estate – our bodies – and all have a truly equal say and vote in where our species is headed. Modern technologies and widening education bring a truly global democracy within easy reach. Individuals could simply vote for issues and cut out the middleman politicians entirely!

But before we can trust majorities with ultimate - if democratic - power over minorities who may be very different from them, we have a multitude of issues to address and rectify. Fortunately, a fair global framework already exists to protect us all from our own potential errors, one which provides an almost universally ratified Bill of Rights covering every child, woman and man on Earth.

The various U.N. treaties regarding all sorts of rights have been assembled under an adequate umbrella of universal protection known as the International Bill of Rights. It already forms the basis for many domestic laws that various nations have adopted under its articles – but chances are that as a mere citizen you’ve been kept entirely in the dark as to the true reasons behind your particular government’s apparent wisdom and largesse.

The International Bill of Rights is easily accessed via United Nations websites and is easily digested; see if you can find anything in it with which you disagree. It’s likely that the vast majority of humans on the planet will have no problems with its definitions of rights and freedoms, but there are many other issues to deal with if global electronic democracy is to become a reality – for instance, finding a way to curb the power of programmers and technocrats, and the powers of our easily controlled, utterly coercible and censorable mass media. We face ancient dilemmas; who guards the guardians and who watches the watchers? And how do you disarm a paranoid bunch of brainwashed tribalists armed by despots who profit from the continual killing – and who control their civilization?

We have to make an end to war. Creating peace involves creating a space without suffering or violence. If we want to end war a good place to start – if you’re serious about changing your attitudes but can’t abandon or thoroughly alter your current life – is at the kindergarten level of competitive training for violent combat and war; sport.

Competitive sports train the innocent for war. That’s the whole point behind encouraging the ‘masses’ to back and barrack for tribalistic, totemically differentiated teams, folks; it teaches that life, war friendship, love and politics can all be dealt with using the same brainless reflexive win-lose concepts and simplifies everything to an easily divisible level. Sport and war reduce the multitude to elevate the domineering.

If you want to change your world stop paying any attention to the stupid duopolistic distractions of competitive sport and party politics. Many will rebel at this – that’s the whole point. Most current day politics, finance, wars and pieces are equally delusory distractions, keeping your eyes off the prize and your mind off the main game by turning off your mind.

All problems with our conscious decision making processes stem from the self-same source, whether they be individual or collective.

We have to understand where this global split personality arises from; it comes from within each of us. The adversarial structures of our systems of law and government arise from minds that continually argue with themselves and never know peace or inner silence.

This is not just a consequence of the bicameral – twin chambered – nature of our split brain structure – it’s a result of a planetary shockwave that affected us all in prehistory, resulting in our collective and individual inability to recover from a blow to the head delivered simultaneously to the entire species. The Earth was struck by a massive interplanetary discharge – a planet-wide electric shock felt by all, amid a global catastrophe that threatened to extinguish our species.

Remember the ancient Babylonian (Iraqi) story of the ‘Tower of Babel’ and humanity’s cleavage into disparate tribes and nations who could suddenly no longer understand each other? It’s instructive to note that the chroniclers of this pre-Biblical narrative averred that the sky god destroyed the tower to divide Humanity and thus render us powerless - because we were beginning to rival the deities themselves. *

We have little understanding of what abilities we’ve lost as a species – like many victims of electro-shock therapy, we are afflicted with partial amnesia. Suffice to say that once upon a time we could all ‘hear’ on more than one level… whether we remember or believe it or not – and that ability and many others are well within our reach and grasp. The younger you are when you start to change yourself the easier it will be.

Until both hemispheres of our brains can operate together in a balanced synergy - which can only arise from the healing light of clear self-examination and careful tuning - our star-spanning minds are reduced to an argumentative, jostling conversation between two or more equally half-blinded and crippled parts. When we become internally unified and fully integrated we have the ability to tune in with – and on - anything and anyone, anywhere and anytime; and self-styled gods of all creeds and stripes find the idea of such a self-aware Humanity repulsive; it renders us abominably uncontrollable and unbindably free.

The almost universal mental imbalance resulting from this lack of internal attunement is the origin of all apparent divisions and false dichotomies that surround us. Our brains are instruments that require tuning – and harmony is only possible when all crazy notions of aloneness and competition are cast aside.

When we open ALL our eyes we can easily see that disagreement isn’t required to reach the truth, and argument isn’t necessary to arrive at easily achievable and universally agreeable goals. It’s easy to see that all of us are one being staring through the starry eyes of a multitude - and to know that death is impossible.

All it takes is to the ability to do nothing and think nothing. Absolutely nothing. The moment of wonder is only a moment away when you’ve mastered this ‘simple’ trick – the first step to true enlightenment. The world is always waiting for you to reemerge from the delight of the light imbued with immanent innocence; the universe is alive, and responds to your inner sense. The universe is a co-creation and it takes all kinds to make a world. Even if you can transform yourself in the bright void of superconsciousness, your life awaits you on your return. Changing the world means changing your mind and your life; the devil lies in the details you slowly shed with your old discarded skin.

The Whole Holy Hologram

If you want to change your world, the only place to start is within yourself. This requires continual self examination and an awareness and recognition of your true motives and programming. It requires abandoning the false ideas of notional nations, separate races, superior religious superstitions and parted politics. It means rechannelling all your competitive behaviour and attitudes into a recognition of unity with others – and with all things. It’s easy to recognise the all-powerful unity that lies within our vast diversity of cultures, perspectives and beliefs when you stop identifying with individual idiosyncratic fractions and factions. The whole is far greater than the sum of its parts.

The real Great Game is the Royal Maze of the Mind that leads to enlightenment. The gate to the core of the maze resides at the core of your brain, in the central space between and behind your eyes and between your ears, below the crown of your head. If you locate yourself there – right now – and view the world from the perspective of the centre of your own head, you’ll see your view widen from a narrow tunnel to a wide expanse that incorporates everything in your field of view.

We’re primates living in a planetary tree that’s scarred with the graffito of our passions – loves and hates born of our illusory fear of mortality and separation, which compel us to make our mark on the world. We can do better than simply making marks and leaving scars.

All we have to look beyond the surface differences that camouflage our identically innocent spirits and wise ancient souls. If we want to start making a paradise planet out of this industrialised wasteland we have to recognise where the primal split in our species really lies. The first illusory division in our species - and the hideous result of our ongoing inner distractions and artificially contrived divisions - is the enduring armed truce in the pointless, ultimately unsurvivable battle of the sexes.

When peace is made between woman and man the planet can flower into a garden paradise fit for children. When our apparent differences are recognised for what they are – interlinked and interlocking survival strategies designed for life and consciousness to expand on the floating crust of a chaotically changeable ball of hot mud circling a blazing electric fireball – we can celebrate the gift of the interlocking jigsaw puzzles that our bodies and tribes really are.

We can learn that our species-split sexuality is a technique of regeneration and transformation on an individual and global scale – we’re not just a tools used by a bunch of genes for their own survival, but companions, lovers and co-creators. We can learn to control our own fertility at will and lovemaking can keep us young and supple, and be a portal to higher consciousness and the abilities it provides.

The techniques are miraculously still available, despite being long suppressed by rigid prudes worshipping the same false religions that burned Giordano Bruno at the stake – along with many millions of wise women and men – and which still stone women to death for being outdoors alone, or refuse to allow their sheeple to use contraceptives.

The place to make world peace real is in the still core of your mind and the still, pure warmth in the core of your heart. The way to heal yourself and the planet is to still your mind and make love – real, true, non-possessive abundant love – and as the hippies said, if you can’t be with the one you love then love the one you’re with.

It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it - it might as well be you. Make love, not war; when we learn to accept each other and work together life is no longer a job or chore, but a work of divinely inspired Art. When we open our eyes in the new fresh dawn of sensuously rational happiness we find we don’t have to climb out of the purblind pit of false dogma and censored history – we’re already free in a brave new world.

Lilith and Eve

Lilith and Eve
*
All Empires Fall
Not All Idealists Can Be Cured

‘There’s always a lia(r) in parliament.’
- The New Illuminati’s Mother

Must all good times come to an end? Are pessimistic doomsayers correct when they shrug and say ‘life wasn’t meant to be easy’ – or is all of Humanity trapped in an ongoing boom-and-bust cycle that benefits a handful of dynastically-minded potentates?

The planet is fed up to the gills with poisonous fruits that swamp our ecosystem’s waters and atmosphere – all products of the infantile modern doctrine of endless growth. This sick uneconomical dogma has filtered down from society’s capstone of self-proclaimed leaders and self-ordained guidance counselors, to infiltrate the souls, minds and daily lives of most of the planet’s hard-working domesticated primates.

‘Aspirational voters’ (‘materialist yuppies’ is a descriptive phrase which is no longer in common use) have been entrained to expect more and more money, trinkets, luxuries and gewgaws every year. They rarely notice that the purchasing power of their silly toy money declines faster than they can earn (or spend) it. Attention spans are so short that few notice the perpetual cycles of plenty and famine which inevitably recur, resulting in the same greedy smirking winners pocketing the hard-earned change of the same bunch of losers every time.

The grandparents of today’s treadmill-pushing workers were led from the bucolic self-sustaining farmyards and small communities of their parents, lured into toxic cities and mindless jobs like dumb beasts to the slaughter. The first generation of refugees and peasants always works like dogs to allow their children a chance at something ‘better’ – a good running start to a better leveraged position on a faster-paced treadmill.

Before the days of television and rampant trans-global capitalism it was a common truism that ‘religion is the opiate of the people’. No doubt this is still the case in many backward parts of the world, where hypnotised thralls, vassals and fundamentally damaged fundamentalists are still mired in the offal and bullshit produced over the last few crazed millennia. In today’s self-blinding alternative world, electronic screens and various forms of opiates are the opium of many people, while high-dosage caffeine, cocaine and speed keep the marching band of sleepless sheep up to speed on their rotating ramps.

Today’s work-fodder is as addicted to money and prestige as they are to a vast raft of toxic legal and illegal expensive pharmaceutical drugs – while they’re prohibited from consuming safe, free, naturally occurring substances they can grow and produce for themselves. Citizens - who only a couple of generations supplied themselves and their communities with almost all their needs (and luxuries) - wouldn’t survive without a can opener, piped water and a microwave oven today. Many literally have no idea where their food comes from – or that it’s routinely sprayed with fifteen toxic and cancer-creating biocides before it reaches the preservative-filled shelves of their local multinational conglomerate.

Today’s citizens don’t even realise that when their governments call them ‘consumers’ they’re telling them that they’re nothing more than witless suckers. It doesn’t matter if some older people finally wise up on their deathbeds - another sucker is born every second. Every infant is routinely shot up with dozens of dangerous and scientifically unproven chemicals, which are laced with mercury, formaldehyde and even worse toxins. In many places it’s illegal to try to stop a doctor from jabbing ‘preventative’ poisons into your babies.

Populations are forced to drink water that’s been deliberately tainted with aluminium, chlorine, and the hazardous waste sodium fluoride (which, unlike the calcium fluoride that was announced safe after last century’s inadequate testing procedures is a slow poison, as well as being a tranquilliser), along with a plethora of less intentionally introduced additives. These and other elements and chemicals also taint all foods cooked in them until their levels rise to place intolerable loads on human bodies. They’re absorbed through skin as readily as though the gullet, and showering or bathing in water which contains them is debilitating.

Modern humans are also bathed in electronic waves whose specific frequencies couldn’t have been better attuned to keep their minds in a suggestible state. Cell-damaging cellular phones have long been known to be dangerous; aside from hazardous radio frequency-related problems these primitive technocratic artefacts cook a cubic centimetre of brain tissue in human temporal lobes, right beside the place where they’re held. Even under the ridiculous safety standards of the last century (and today), these items were designed to be used only by humans with fully developed and rigidified skulls – not children or young adults under the age of twenty-five.

Aside from also doubling the rate of brain tumours in adults and multiplying them fivefold in kids who use them before the age of twenty, mobile phones – like television sets – almost instantaneously entrain the mind to slip into an a brain-numbing state dominated by an alpha wave beat. The result is a population who sleepwalks through their lives in a passive existence of hypnotised semi-consciousness, while the gullible and ill-educated users of these poorly (or perhaps perniciously) designed ‘communication’ technologies are rendered even more gullible.

In fifty years the more enlightened survivors of today’s madness may look back and shake their heads in wonder at the awe-inspiring foolishness of their predecessors – much as we pity the victims of the barber-surgeons, so-called ‘doctors’ and other savant idiots of previous centuries, and marvel at their brainless primitive antics.

Meanwhile, children are regimented into the same old lockstep routines as their forebears, and any who object are deemed ‘uncontrollable’ or dosed up to speed to ‘straighten them out’. People trot along on mind-numbing spinning rat races, while devoting their waking hours to the endlessly spun lies of panic merchants and drama queens - dreaming of the day when they can finally relax and enjoy life. By then (of course) it will be far too late to experience the prime time of their lives – which was utterly wasted on prime-time TV after a hard day of planet-destroying activity at the orifice or fuctory.

Many people have the abysmal hide and selfish pride to say they do it all ‘for the children’; humans dumb themselves down into greedy pig-ignorance with the perpetual use of such self-serving, self-blinding lies. The future isn’t served by pointless self-sacrifice, and is stolen from our children by ninety percent of today’s needlessly wasteful consumption, pointless time-filling activity and aimless ‘productivity’. Modern children are denied the one priceless gift that their families have to give them; their irreplaceable time. We all have a choice and all decide what we do with the time of our lives.

All empires are built on the false premise of perpetual growth and endless expansion. Most of Earth’s cultures were once stable agrarian societies with zero population growth – maintained not by high infant mortality rates, but via the use of various natural contraceptives and prophylactics dispensed by ubiquitous wise women and medicine men.

Patriarchal societies ruled by hunter-warriors have always desired to breed larger numbers of docile slaves and willing fighters than their expanding bands and exhausted lands could sustain, and have eradicated the use of contraceptive substances (and their suppliers) whenever possible.

The religions of conquerors are always designed for expansion. Manipulative priests have always assured their illiterate flocks that god is on their side, and always charge them with the divinely ordained duty to spread their culture far and wide - by ‘being fruitful’ and converting or killing any unbelievers (people who won’t hand over their land, possessions and daughters to the rapine swine on the nearest spear-girt hill).

The slaughter of scores of millions of ‘heathen devil-worshippers’ and ‘godless pagans’ by the ‘Christians’ of the middle ages has been shown to have been driven by a deliberate policy of population growth. The population of medieval Europe remained too stable for the liking of popes and imperialistic dynasties of the era. They wanted to raise more and more manpower for their expansionary wars, and the religion of the ruthless conquerors was employed to drive their misled flocks to exterminate all the wise ‘black sheep’ in their midst.

Conformist, compliant and enslaved populations is the usual result when dissent is thoroughly suppressed. In many Eastern cultures (such as Japan, where all dissenters were executed for generations) uniform conformity and kowtowing to all authority figures was ingrained into the powerless peasantry for centuries. Throughout history, ‘population control’ has been the favourite pastime of psychotic rulers all over the world. Modern barbarians such as Stalin (the ‘Man of Steel’) have demonstrated how effectively you can govern a people when all the intelligent and rebellious members of the population have been ruthlessly exterminated or locked behind barbed wire fences. Modern Russia is a case-study in the result of the Soviet Union’s national self-lobotomy.

The Greeks, Romans, Muslims and Christians finished raking smoldering coals over the bodies of the ‘pagan’ herbalists and Wicca-women of the relatively egalitarian tribalistic societies that they exterminated and supplanted. Little evidence remains of the once-widespread wise cultures and superior systems that fast-burning hothead empires obliterated in their purblind greed. In today’s world nomadic peoples and village cultures have no place to call their own and the ‘democratic’ societies that surround them and steal their ancestral lands see nothing wrong with forcing them into their cloaking fold.

The last few alternative medicines (and foods) which are not touted by evil-minded money-making chemical dispensaries are still being ruthlessly suppressed and obliterated. The sexes are still wedged firmly apart, creating a primal schism through the entire species - that can easily by filled with the fearful lies that keep people perpetually unrelaxed and uncomfortable with themselves and each other.

Endless growth kills everything. When an empire has finally chewed through all the frontiers that surround its borders it inevitably begins to fall apart, and the worst rot always sets in at the core of its power structure. Today’s empires have the same tools available to them as those of the past – brute military force, economic power and monocultural supremacy. All empires fall, all kings go down - but their mess remains and their dogmas continue to blind men and women to their true destinies.

We all face the result of what the Club of Rome called the ‘Limits to Growth’ back in the early 1970s. Our economic system – and our entire global society – is based on a dangerous lie. Improvements in living conditions won’t continue to be delivered on the back of the false promise that productivity depends on ever-increasing growth. Our empires must fall if we continue to pursue the twin mirages of limitless growth and endless made-up credit.

People have even less of an accurate idea of where their money comes from than they do about the sources of their food. Strange as it may seem, most money is literally invented every time a bank hands out a loan, and far more money is owed than can ever be repaid. The world monetary system is a global pyramid scam in which more and more fictional debt mounts up until the system must come crashing down – and the real wealth is subsequently redistributed on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. The system is designed to fail regularly, and to fail with spectacularly rewarding results – for the ‘first families’ who have their foot on the unseen pedals lurking ’neath the apparently random roulette wheels of finance.

Yet puppet presidents and Colonel Blimp captains of industry still manage to fool themselves and everyone else into pretending that the world is flat, or that the surface of a sphere is infinite – or that the planet will put up with this inane behaviour for much longer.

‘Productivity’ and ‘growth’ are just cover stories for planetary destruction. Human beings aren’t a blight on the earth – but endless growth is a cancerous tumour sucking the life from the planet, and from you.  We have to develop an utterly different range of mindsets, one that served our ancestors through a million years of wise stewardship. We need to relearn how to like living with close friends and family, and to grow our own food. We also need to plant a huge number of living forests and ecosystems by hand – not just a handful of trees that industries intend to ‘harvest’ as a ‘resource’. We need to stop poisoning the ecosystem yesterday, and start sharing and caring for each other now, today - if we’re to survive the new aeon, or even the next two generations.

We only have to give up many of our recently acquired addictions, nothing more. We need to see that all emperors have no clothes, and see through the needless trappings we’ve been trained to think of as necessities. We need to stare into each other’s eyes and start talking in small circles and one-on-one encounters if we’re to remember why we’re alive! Typing on keyboards, staring into screens or talking on phones doesn’t count; find someone you can resonate with and start communicating today. Or just share some space and time together; sitting quietly and doing nothing at all is one of the two very best ways to start healing the planet – and yourself.

Make love, not war; and girls – please stop breeding with warriors and other halfwits. We all deserve much better. The new breed of Humanity is in your hands and regardless of what all the patriarchal potentates in creation may wish, the hand that rocks the cradle will always rule the world.
